this kitten is vocalizing its annoyance, and it is indeed vocalizing it AT the water, as if the water is going to take a hint and stop being wet and gross on its paw.

if a girl tried to sacrifice me to the old gods that would be totally fine and I would submit but if a guy did that I would fight back a little
unless he was really hot I guess (the god or the guy)
in which case it is appropriate to fight back for homoerotic reasons
Not me, I’m a pacifist. I just make sad pathetic little noises while he strikes me and look up at him with my honest big brown eyes. He knows he killed a good man and it punishes him more than any physical harm I could do to him.
ohhhh if you hit him with that 🥺 hard enough he’ll never land the killing blow
I’m so patheticcore. I’m such a poor little meow meow.
any decent man would take u in and nurse u back to health under the patronage of the old gods he once foolishly believed he could bring himself to sacrifice u to
(he doesn’t know I am loved by all of the gods and by showing me clemency he saved himself from all manner of ills and perils)
“young adult dystopian novels are so unrealistic lmao like they always have some random teenage girl rising up to inspire the world to make change.”
a hero emerges
And just like in the novels, grown men and women are going out of their way to destroy her. Support our hero.
And it’s not even like it doesn’t happen regularly.
Teenage girls are amazing.
Sometimes they’re not even teenagers
Reblog every time a girl is discredited/ignored
Who they are:

This isn’t a coincidence. Revolutions almost always happen when the population of a country is at its youngest and that’s a lot more true nowadays with social media.
Claudette Colvin was actually the first one to refuse her seat in Montgomery, Alabama to a white passenger. The movement chose to promote Rosa Parks as the figure for that form of protest because Claudette was a pregnant 15-year-old girl.
Barbara Rose Johns was a 16-year-old who organized a student strike protesting segregated schools. This strike, after gaining support of the NAACP, became a lawsuit that turned into Brown vs. The Board of Education and resulted in the desegregation of U.S schools nationally.
7th-grader Mary Beth Tinker, disturbed by the Vietnam War, decided to wear an arm band with a peace sign on it in protest. Her school suspended her. Her family filed a suit, Tinker vs. Des Moines, which reached the Supreme Court and ruled in her favor, ensuring that students and teachers maintain their right to free speech while in school.
Freddie & Truus Oversteegen were sisters who joined a Dutch resistance movement in WWII in their teens. They lured, ambushed, and assassinated Nazis and Dutch collaborators. They also blew up a railway line, transported Jewish refugees to new hiding places, and worked in an emergency hospital.
Our history books may like to showcase male figures, but behind every movement is a young girl ready to make a change. It was true then, it’s true now, and future generations of teenage girls will go on to inspire progress, whether they’re credited or not.
We were raised on these stories of fighting back against oppression, but then the people who wrote them or read them to us act shocked we turned out ready to fight facism even while being anti-social.
There are many reasons why women’s history is so often elided or erased in our education.
But one of those reasons is that so MANY of the women who made history, did so for reasons that challenged existing structures of power…and usually in accessible, related ways that modern day institutions feared students learning from.
thinking about teen wolf you are all so surprised. when stiles gets possessed and derek’s like “oh you think STILES is the nogitsune?? (arrested development voice) Her? i could punt that guy across a parking lot why would anything want to possess him I Am Feeling Normal About This And We Have It All Under Control.” and then everyone takes like two seconds to think about it and they’re like “oh my god we forgot he’s smarter than us. he’s literally smarter than all of us oh my god. haha fuck. his brain is so big and he was already insane before this. and he’s not even that SKINNY”. that was good. that was fun. all of that happened word for word by the way.
i do think like at least half the interactions that people have with stiles are punctuated by the exact same thought, which is just “ah. shit. i forgot he’s smarter and meaner than i am. next time you talk to this guy Do Not forget that he’s smarter and meaner than you.” and then of course they forget about the smartness and the meanness and it happens all over again. stiles is like “well i think we should drug and kill this person actually” and everyone’s like “wtf why would you say that” and it’s like? that’s all he EVER says. everything that comes out of his mouth is a variation of “calculated murder is an option and i’d be so fucking good at it if you guys would just LET ME”. why won’t they let him. like. spread your wings, dude. use them to smother people or something.
need the studios to cave to the guilds demands very immediately or tom cruise is going to have Free Time on his hands for the first time in 42 years we as a species cannot allow that to happen like this is what he’s like when he’s busy working every single day of his life can you imagine what would happen if he got BORED

oh so we’re just stealing amanda marisatomay bits now
i get kidnapped by a rich creep and he does the whole “have dinner with me wearing this specific dress (or die)” thing and i’m like okay lol let’s see the dress and it turns out the dress doesn’t fit me because the loser just thought he could grab any old low-cut red dress off the rack because he’s a man and so i have to explain that there are very very few dresses that actually fit my weird proportions and so we take the fancy dinner to go and spend four hours dress shopping and then sometime around dress #27 i make my daring escape and he doesn’t even bother to pursue me because he’s so tired of shopping

I love Lilo And Stitch bc even though it makes me sad David just goes and blames what he thinks is a normal dog for making things worse for Nani and Lilo and it’s constantly funny to me
YOU DID THIS
Just so we know just exactly David was dealing with.
It honestly never occurred to me that Stitch could have been mistaken for a French Bulldog by everyone
I really have been just accepting that Lilo’s cover story “Stitch used to be a collie ‘til he got run over” as the story everyone accepted.
yeah in David’s defense, “Nani’s chaotic little sister brought a dog home and then immediately dyed the poor thing bright blue” is not an unreasonable assumption
Alright, I’m drunk on fatigue and chronic depression, but I think I know how to handle the AI art theft tsunami that’s headed our way.
You remember what we did with the T-shirt thieves? How we tricked the bots into copying Mickey Mouse t-shirts, and Disney lawyers immediately shut that shit down?
We should do the same thing with ChatGPT and its AI cousins. We grab one of the open source chatbots and train it solely on Disney IP properties (movie scripts, video games, etc.), then unleash it as a “fairytale generator” chatbot. Or a “superhero story” chatbot.
Disney lawyers will be on that like sharks on fresh tuna. Let the company do the grunt work of legally establishing that AIs can’t just scrape content off the internet with zero boundaries or rules. That stealing content and shuffling the words around is still plagiarism.
If they won’t act on their conscience, maybe their greed will motivate them.
